Nikolay Belov ist seit 2025 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz im SCO-TTi-Team unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Sophia Keil. Nach seiner Promotion in Physik am Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik in Heidelberg war er mehrere Jahre als Entwickler, Forscher und Projektmanager am Fraunhofer IVI tätig – unter anderem im europäischen Projekt MAGPIE sowie im Bereich Fahrzeugautomatisierung (helyOS).
